With over 25 years of experience in clinical research, Almenia has been involved in numerous projects that integrate healthcare and technology, such as EHR2EDC. Her expertise lies in site selection strategy, investigator identification, and investigator relationship management. Beyond her professional responsibilities, Almenia is deeply committed to promoting diversity in all aspects of clinical trials. She actively supports initiatives aimed at increasing diversity among principal investigators, research sites, study staff, and patient recruitment efforts. Almenia serves on the Board of Directors for Nvolve, a non-profit organization dedicated to preparing young women for STEM careers. Additionally, she contributes her expertise as an advisory board member for CISCRP (Center for Information & Study on Clinical Research Participation).
